NOVEMBER READING GROUP UPDATE

Reading group activity always winds down at this time of year due to the holidays. Fine with me because it gives me a shot at all those books I meant to read this year but haven't gotten to yet. Only three meetings this month and I have already read Vinegar Girl. It is all good.

Since this is the month for giving thanks, I would like to give thanks to all the wonderful readers in my reading groups, to all the outstanding authors I have read this year, and to you who follow and read and comment on this blog. All of you are the shining center of my life (along with my husband, ha ha, but he reads also.)

  1. It's good that you will have time to indulge your own taste in reading this holiday season.

  2. Looks like some good ones. I see they already have movie plans for The Last Days of Night. I will have to find out more about the book. Meanwhile our book group is meeting in early Dec. to discuss a book called The Beauty of Humanity Movement by Camilla Gibb. I don't know about it but plan to. Enjoy your groups!

    1. I just finished Last Days of Night. I thought it was great! The author won an Oscar for the screenplay of The Imitation Game, so I would assume he has an in with Hollywood. I remember hearing about your book group pick and wanting to read it. I will await your review!

  3. I like the cover of these books and the titles sounds promising. I'm glad that you are devoted to your lecture and reading group. I can image you are going to these meetings and exchange your point of view and thoughts. I also appreciate the fact that you are open-mind and so eager to explore extensively all sorts of stories /novels.
Oh, by the way, I'm curious about The Vinagre Girl - Will wait your review.
Have a great Sunday Judy :)
