It sounded so pleasant, so 50's--especially the cover--that I checked it out. Once I started reading it, I laughed out loud, e.g. the girdle fitting. I remember my grandmother's undergarment, with actual "stays" that could be pulled out. Ouch. I am enjoying the book very much.
