BOOKS READ IN JUNE

I had a good reading month because all but one of the books I read were topnotch. My total is down because two of the books were fairly long; one just had to be savored and I couldn't rush it, the other was one of those books I never wanted to read but had agreed to for a reading group. Even in that one, I learned stuff I didn't know before.

Stats: 8 books read, 7 fiction, 1 biography, 5 by women, 3 by men, 1 translated.

Favorites: The Queen of the Night and The Enchanted
Least favorite: Mary Todd Lincoln, A Biography

Looks like you've had a great reading month - what with reading 8 books and all but one of them being top-notch :-) My reading was a bit down in June but I hope it will be back up in July, as it will be the long schools' summer break for us soon.

  2. As usual, you have a diverse collection there. I almost never read biography. I suppose it is a failing of mine as a reader.

    1. I only read biographies of people I want to know more about. At times they are dull compared to fiction. It is all in the writing I guess.

  3. Nice selections for June. I have a few on my TBR list but, I really want to read, Arcadia.

  4. Ahh The Enchanted, quite a book. Glad you liked it. A bit unique. Wonder what that author will write next ... whatever it is, I will be there.
