Room is a finalist for the Booker Prize which will be awarded on October 12. I predict a win for Room.

(Room is available in hardcover at Once Upon A Time Bookstore.)

Is there anyone who knows what country provided the setting for Room?

  2. I read somewhere in an interview with Emma Donoghue (sorry I can't remember where) that she purposely did not name a country or city, but she thought of it as loosely located in the United States. Ms Donoghue is originally Irish, lived for many years in London and now lives in Canada.

Where did you feel it was set?
