BOOKS READ IN NOVEMBER

I had one of my lowest number of books finished in November ever. For the past few years Thanksgiving has become an event filled with many happy days spent eating, drinking and carrying on with family. This went on for a full week and I don't regret a minute spent! All the books I finished were great except for one. Also, in these interesting times, I am proud to say they were all written by women!!

Stats:6 books read. 6 fiction. 6 by written by women. 4 for My Big Fat Reading Project. 1 fantasy.
Favorite: Sing, Unburied, Sing.
Least favorite: The Benefactor.

  1. Not bad at all, plus your favorite book of the month was a major award winner. :-)

    1. You are so kind! Yes, it was stellar to have read Sing, Unburied, Sing just before it won!
Last night we watched Lady Macbeth, which you reviewed and I put in my queue. Wow, it was great and different. What a bad woman she was! I loved it and so did husband.

    1. Thank you! I have been wondering lately what is your first name. I feel kind of funny calling you Captivated Reader-:)

  3. Let's mark this day down in history! I actually read more books than you in November - 8 to be exact! Three and a half of mine were by women, the half being the mother part of the mother/son writing team of Charles Todd. I agree with you about Sing, Unburied, Sing. It was an amazing book and certainly award-worthy.

  4. I completed 6 in Nov. too! The first time I've ever been near your totals for a month, ha. It'll never happen again. I better enjoy it. You deserve a week off every once in a while. And I didn't finish an important winner like Sing Unburied Sing either. cheers.

    1. Well thanks for approving my week off and good on you for breaking your normal! What matters is that we read and we love doing it. Right?
